Okay, so I've come up with the theory that there is only one Roman goddess of the moon--Henia. That would be Hannah with a funky intoneation. Like HEE-NAH.
So, basically, there's only one moon goddess, but she has two aspects--Diana and Hecate. But the stupid Romans--and Greeks, but since I like the Greeks, I'm only hashing on the Romans--didn't know that, and Henia was just too freeking lazy to tell them that there was only one person.
And, I don't get why everyone seems to think that Hecate is evil. SHE'S NOT EVIL!!! DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW THE STORY OF HECATE AND THE KEY???!!!
For those of you that don't lemme tell you:
The goddess Hecate has a Key.
And, one day, when a worthy mortal comes to her, she shall give it to (h)im/er (my was of saying him/her).
And, Hecate being the Witch-Mother, Queen of the Underworld, and goddess of the Dark Moon, the Key is special.
Very.
When held by the hands of the Worthy One, the Key shall be able to unlock the gates of the Underworld and let a single mortal soul out.
See??? Hecate's not a bad person!!!
